AI for Economic Growth: Government and Industry Perspectives from the UK and Switzerland
The British Embassy to the Swiss Confederation will host a conference titled “AI for Economic Growth: Government and Industry Perspectives from the UK and Switzerland” on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00.
The event will open with remarks from Mrs. Emily Partington, Deputy Head of Mission, who will provide the official opening address.
About the Conference
This one-day conference brings together UK and Swiss government representatives, industry leaders, and experts to explore how two highly innovative economies can advance cooperation on artificial intelligence and seize economic opportunities.
During the conference, lead co-authors of the independent International AI Safety Report 2026 will present the latest findings relevant to both policymakers and industry.
With the AI landscape shifting constantly, both globally and regionally, the event provides a timely platform to discuss shared opportunities, interoperability, and economic growth between the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
