AI Innovation Sandbox Zurich – Call for Projects
As a member of the Swiss FinTech Association, Swiss Information and Management Institute would like to introduce an interesting opportunity from the Canton of Zurich.
As of 9 April 2026, submissions are open for the third round of the AI Innovation Sandbox. This initiative welcomes a wide range of organizations, including startups, SMEs, larger companies, NGOs, and research institutions, that are interested in testing their AI solutions or ideas in a controlled, real-world environment.
Purpose, Structure, and Relevance of the AI Innovation Sandbox
The AI Innovation Sandbox is designed to provide a practical setting in which organizations can explore, test, and validate innovative AI use cases. A key feature of the initiative is its collaborative approach, which brings participants together with partners from government, academia, and industry. This creates an environment where ideas can be examined not only from a technical perspective, but also in relation to practical implementation and broader cooperation.
