The nature of SIMI - SwissUK™ HEI
The Essence of SIMI Academic Programs
SIMI (Swiss Information and Management Institute) – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) is not a local higher education provider but an international higher education institution delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in accordance with the standards of a Switzerland Truly International™ Higher Education Institution. Its academic programmes and qualifications integrate the framework of Swiss private higher education with qualification systems that are nationally recognised by the Government of the United Kingdom.
Licensed under the authority of Canton Zug, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI operates as a private higher education institution with full legal capacity and functions under Swiss law. As defined by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), the institution awards Private Degrees. Being privately established, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI is not part of Switzerland’s public or federal higher education system and does not receive public subsidies, financial support, or preferential treatment from the Swiss Confederation. Accordingly, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI does not fall within the scope of the Federal Act of 30 September 2011 on the Funding and Coordination of the Higher Education Sector (HEdA), SR 414.11.
The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are designed in response to labour-market needs and employer expectations, with a strong emphasis on professional training, applied learning, and research capability development. These programmes are independently developed and subject to international quality assurance and accreditation mechanisms. They are distinct from programmes governed by the Swiss national or federal education frameworks. Consequently, qualifications awarded by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are not classified as federal qualifications and do not form part of the Swiss public university or federal higher education systems.
As an international private higher education institution, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI operates outside the Swiss public education system and is not subject to federal academic oversight or funding. Nevertheless, qualifications awarded by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may be subject to independent evaluation by third-party organisations or competent entities, based on the institution’s academic standing and the international accreditation frameworks under which it operates.
Degrees conferred by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are awarded under Swiss legal authorisation applicable to private higher education institutions, permitting duly recognised evaluation bodies to conduct independent assessments for recognition or comparability purposes, subject to their own criteria and jurisdiction. Furthermore, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI does not award single qualifications. All academic programmes are structured to lead to dual qualifications, comprising:
(i) a qualification reflecting the standards and outcomes of Swiss private higher education; and
(ii) a qualification that is nationally recognised within the United Kingdom’s regulated framework through Ofqual (UK Government).
Upon completion of their studies, learners receive dual qualifications and may present both awards concurrently, subject to the requirements and discretion of receiving institutions or employers, in order to enhance academic, professional, and international mobility opportunities.
SIMI - SwissUK™ HEI delivery methods
With the objective of operating as a leading private higher education institution delivering programmes under an off-campus learning model (combining Live Class delivery and a local academic support system), SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) implements the following training model:
- For international students in countries where SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI does not maintain partner institutions or campuses: students engage in online learning through Live Class sessions delivered directly by instructors of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI.
- For students in countries where partner institutions or campuses are formally recognised by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI: learners participate in Live Class sessions delivered by instructors of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, while concurrently accessing local academic support activities provided by the partner institution.
- For students attending campuses operated by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI in Switzerland or in other countries, learning is delivered through a face-to-face, on-campus training model.
"Please note that local partners provide academic and administrative support only and do not hold any authority to determine, alter, or influence academic outcomes. All decisions relating to academic assessment, learning outcomes, and the awarding of diplomas remain exclusively within the authority of SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) and the partner universities involved in the assessment and awarding process."
SIMI - SwissUK™ HEI campus
To support its institutional development strategy and the implementation of the off-campus training model, SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) has invested in and established a network of offices, e-campuses, and learning campuses in Switzerland and in various other countries. The purpose of maintaining multiple locations and distributed offices is to enhance accessibility and to ensure that academic support and training-related activities are delivered closer to learners.
In the course of programme delivery—whether under off-campus, full-time, or online learning models—SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may, where appropriate, rent, cooperate in, transfer the use of, or franchise facilities for operational and academic support purposes. Students and related parties are expressly advised that facilities, libraries, digital platforms, and on-site infrastructures (including e-campuses and city campuses) utilised by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may not be wholly owned by the institution. Such facilities may be shared with other entities or may be fully owned and managed by third parties, including government or public organisations. Students are required to acknowledge and accept this operational arrangement when accessing and using such facilities.
For students enrolled at campuses designated as SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI learning locations, the specific campus or facility assigned may vary depending on the organisational model, class structure, and academic requirements of each programme. SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI does not guarantee that students will have access to all facilities, infrastructures, or locations associated with its operations, nor does it guarantee study on large or fully integrated campuses or exclusive use of any entire campus.
Students and all related parties are expected to comply strictly with applicable rules, security requirements, usage regulations, and ownership policies governing each facility, in order to ensure safety, operational integrity, and respect for property rights.
Visiting the campus, city campus, or e-campus in Switzerland or any other country is allowed for relatives of full-time students only.
To ensure safety and security, as most offices, campuses, and e-campuses of SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) are located within office buildings and/or government premises, and to maintain fairness and effective operational management, parents and relatives of FULL-TIME students who wish to visit facilities operated or designated by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI—including offices, campuses, e-campuses, and city campuses—are required to provide prior notice.
"SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) reserves the right to approve or decline such requests, taking into account its operational schedule, security requirements, and human resource planning."
When visiting a city campus or e-campus designated by SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI), please note the following:
- Only relatives of full-time students are permitted to visit. Visits are not arranged or accepted for online students or their relatives to offices, campuses, e-campuses, or city campuses.
- Advance notice is mandatory. Tour schedules are subject to availability and are not necessarily aligned with public holidays or seasonal schedules of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI.
- Students and visitors should be aware that city campuses or e-campuses generally operate as executive or administrative facilities and may constitute only a designated section of a larger building, rather than a large-scale campus similar to those of public universities.
- Certain training venues, libraries, and facilities used by students of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may be operated in cooperation with partner universities or public institutions in Switzerland. Such facilities may be owned and managed by the Swiss government or partner universities. Under these collaborative arrangements, visits to such facilities are permitted only for parents or relatives of students who are studying in Switzerland, subject to the rules of the hosting institution.
- Students and visitors are required to observe all safety, security, and operational regulations and must not interfere with the normal activities of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI. Students remain responsible for any damage or loss caused by themselves or their accompanying visitors to the facilities of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, as well as to facilities owned by partner institutions or government entities.
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) recognises that educational practices and expectations vary across countries, and that some international students may associate higher education with large, self-contained campuses. However, this perception does not necessarily reflect the operational model of private higher education institutions in Switzerland, particularly under the strategic and innovation-driven model adopted by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI. In line with its commitment to transparency, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI does not make representations or commitments beyond its lawful authority or operational control, nor does it present inaccurate or unrealistic information. Prospective students are encouraged to engage proactively with available information, to develop a clear understanding of the institutional model, and to embark on their academic journey with informed and realistic expectations.
Graduation Ceremony
Under the off-campus training model, SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) attracts learners from a wide range of regions and countries worldwide. In practice, students may encounter challenges related to visa issuance and travel authorisation to Switzerland for graduation ceremonies, which can significantly affect both organisational arrangements and individual applicants. Although eligible to attend such ceremonies, a substantial number of graduating students have been unable to participate in person.
In this context, SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI) has decided to discontinue the organisation of annual graduation ceremonies in Switzerland for online and off-campus students with effect from 2023. Instead, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI will arrange regional graduation ceremonies for eligible graduates. For this purpose, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may cooperate with local partners and appoint authorised representatives to attend such events and facilitate the distribution of diplomas, where applicable.
Graduation ceremony fees are not included in tuition fees.
What is the SwissUK™ model established and implemented globally by SIMI?
The SwissUK™ model is an international higher education model established and implemented by the Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI), with the strategic objective of integrating the strengths of Swiss private higher education with the national degree recognition system administered by the Government of the United Kingdom.
SwissUK™ is designed as a cross-border higher education model in which academic delivery is conducted in accordance with Swiss academic standards, while learning outcomes are mapped, assessed, and recognised with reference to the United Kingdom’s national qualifications frameworks, within the respective legal mandates and regulatory requirements of each system. This model establishes a clear separation between the functions of education delivery, assessment, and degree recognition, thereby ensuring transparency, objectivity, and the protection of learners’ rights.
On this basis, SwissUK™ is implemented globally by SIMI through internationally oriented undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, applying digital higher education models, academic mapping, and cross-recognition mechanisms. This approach enables learners to access internationally recognised academic standards without being constrained by geographical borders. SwissUK™ does not operate as a franchise or delegated training system; rather, it constitutes a unified academic model under the direct academic control, quality assurance, and governance of SIMI.
Positioned as an international Swiss–United Kingdom higher education institute model, SwissUK™ reflects SIMI’s long-term strategy to develop a modern, flexible higher education ecosystem aligned with globalisation, while strictly complying with the applicable legal frameworks and recognition regimes of the jurisdictions concerned.
What Benefits Do Students Gain from the SwissUK™ System?
1. Access to Swiss Academic Standards within an International Framework
Students are educated in accordance with the academic standards of Swiss private higher education, with a strong emphasis on academic quality, practical relevance, professional competence, and flexible programme design.
Under the SwissUK™ model, learners access the original academic programmes delivered directly by the Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI), without franchise arrangements, delegated training, or intermediary delivery.
2. Extended Qualification Value through the United Kingdom Recognition Framework
A core advantage of SwissUK™ lies in its integration with the national qualification recognition system administered by the Government of the United Kingdom.
This structure provides a formal basis for learning outcomes and qualifications to be mapped, assessed, and considered for recognition in international contexts, particularly in jurisdictions that apply or reference national qualification frameworks or operate under ministerial or governmental education oversight.
3. Learner Protection through the Separation of Education and Recognition Functions
SwissUK™ is designed on the principle of a clear separation between education delivery, assessment, and degree recognition.
This approach reduces conflicts of interest, enhances academic transparency, and protects learners from risks related to qualification recognition, progression, or degree usage in international academic and professional environments.
4. Flexibility in Learning Pathways and Qualification Utilisation
Students may design learning pathways aligned with their individual objectives, including international employment, professional development, or further study, subject to the regulations of receiving countries and institutions.
The SwissUK™ model does not bind learners to a single national education system, thereby extending the long-term usability and adaptability of learning outcomes.
5. Access to International Higher Education at a Reasonable Cost
In addition to full-time study in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or Asia-based campuses, the SwissUK™ model—through streamlined organisation, digital delivery, and centralised academic governance—enables access to international higher education at a more cost-effective level compared to many traditional overseas study models, while maintaining academic standards and qualification value.
6. Legal Transparency and Clear Institutional Positioning
SwissUK™, as implemented by SIMI, represents the practical realisation of a Swiss–United Kingdom international higher education institute model.
Consistent with this positioning and SIMI’s commitment to transparency, SIMI does not operate training franchises, does not delegate academic authority to third parties, and does not make commitments beyond its lawful mandate.
This clarity enables learners to make informed decisions based on accurate information and defined legal boundaries.
Benefits of a Staged, Level-Based Qualification System for Employers
1. Accurate Candidate Assessment Based on Common Industry Standards
A level-based qualification system ensures that candidates have been assessed against recognised occupational and academic competence standards. This enables employers to evaluate applicants using a shared reference framework, reducing ambiguity in interpreting qualifications from different education systems.
2. Clear Identification of Competence Levels in Recruitment
Level-based qualifications allow employers to easily identify the competence level of applicants during recruitment. Across Europe and many international labour markets, job descriptions and employment applications increasingly require qualifications to be referenced by Level (e.g. EQF/RQF levels), enabling both employers and candidates to communicate expectations and requirements clearly and consistently.
3. Reduced Need for Retraining through Practice-Oriented Education
Qualifications awarded by Level are typically based on applied and practice-oriented training models, with a strong focus on workplace competence and real-world application. This ensures that recruited candidates are better prepared to perform in professional environments, thereby reducing onboarding time and the need for extensive retraining.
4. Improved Matching of Candidates to Roles
A staged qualification system, in which qualifications are recognised at each level of progression, provides transparent information about the knowledge scope, skill set, and competence depth achieved by the candidate. This supports employers in making more precise recruitment decisions, ensuring the right candidate is placed in the right role, aligned with both operational requirements and organisational structure.

In such circumstances, no refund or reimbursement of tuition fees or related costs shall be granted. Furthermore, the applicant or student concerned shall be liable to compensate SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI and any related parties for all losses, damages, or expenses incurred as a result of such misconduct.
SIMI - SwissUK™ HEI License and Programs
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”) operates in full compliance with the requirements applicable to private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as established by the competent authority of the Canton of Zug. While international accreditation is not mandatory under Swiss law, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI voluntarily pursues independent international accreditation as a matter of institutional policy, with the objective of ensuring professional academic governance, strengthening quality assurance mechanisms, and supporting continuous institutional improvement. Information relating to accreditation status is updated regularly and made publicly available in multiple languages on the official website of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI.
As a private higher education institution, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI provides market-oriented academic programmes characterised by flexibility, responsiveness to labour market needs, and international orientation. All programmes are delivered in English and are designed for a global student population. These programmes are developed and implemented independently of the Swiss federal public higher education system and are not subject to Swiss governmental curriculum frameworks. Qualifications awarded by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are institutional private degrees issued by the institution itself and do not constitute federal qualifications, nor do they form part of Switzerland’s public or federally regulated higher education system.
The academic programmes of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are aligned with relevant European competence frameworks and applicable European Union higher education guidelines. Notwithstanding the existence of regional, national, or international reference documents concerning the comparability of qualification frameworks, the recognition, acceptance, or use of qualifications remains, in accordance with international practice, subject to the independent discretion of receiving institutions, employers, professional bodies, or competent authorities, and to the applicable laws and regulations of each country or jurisdiction.
Accordingly, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI does not make any representations, warranties, or commitments beyond its legal and academic authority, including but not limited to assurances regarding the recognition, acceptance, or equivalence of its qualifications by third parties, governments, public authorities, or other institutions. SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI and its international or local partners do not provide support, facilitation, or guarantees in relation to qualification recognition or equivalence processes in any country or for any purpose.
Content published and Training scope
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”) regularly reviews and updates academic information, teaching content, and programme delivery to remain responsive to developments in the labour market and to applicable regulatory requirements. All information published on the official website, in publications, electronic communications, and other media is accurate at the time of release but may be amended, updated, or withdrawn without prior notice.
The scope, structure, and content of academic programmes may be adjusted during implementation, provided that such adjustments continue to comply with the applicable competency frameworks and the assessment criteria required by relevant independent accreditation and quality assurance bodies. Where modifications materially affect previously communicated programme arrangements, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI will inform students accordingly and, where appropriate, provide information on revised programmes or alternative learning pathways.
In circumstances arising from significant economic or political changes, regulatory developments, or events of force majeure, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI reserves the right to adjust the mode of delivery, learning arrangements, or academic schedule. In such cases, students will be notified, and reasonable consultations may be conducted to revise the individual learning plan in line with institutional considerations and applicable constraints.
Learning materials provided within SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI programmes may include third-party resources that are purchased, licensed, or otherwise lawfully used by the institution, as well as materials developed by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI faculty members. All such materials are subject to review and approval by the Academic Board of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI. Notwithstanding this review process, certain content may not be suitable for all learners in every jurisdiction due to cultural, legal, or contextual differences. Where the institution determines that such issues have a material impact, it may revise the relevant content. However, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI disclaims responsibility for any effects or consequences arising beyond the academic context or outside the reasonable control of the institution.
Students and related parties are permitted to use learning materials solely for personal study and academic research purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, or reuse of such materials, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised. Further provisions relating to intellectual property and copyright are set out in the applicable Copyright Policy.
Academic Credits
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”) applies the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) as its primary credit framework. In addition, due to academic cooperation with the United Kingdom education system, certain programmes may also apply the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) credit structure, where appropriate and as specified at programme level.
The recognition and allocation of credits within SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI constitute an internal academic processconducted exclusively by the Academic Board of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, in accordance with its academic regulations and quality assurance procedures. While such recognition is valid within the institutional and partner framework of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, no representation, warranty, or guarantee is made that credits recognised by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI will be accepted, transferred, or recognised by any third-party institution, university, authority, or organisation outside its academic jurisdiction.
Students who intend to transfer credits earned at SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI to another higher education institution or education system are strongly advised to seek prior confirmation directly from the receiving institution. SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may, upon request, provide academic documentation or reasonable assistance within the scope of its authority; however, it does not participate in, influence, or intervene in the admission, assessment, or credit transfer decisions of other institutions.
Accordingly, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI expressly disclaims any obligation or commitment regarding the recognition, transferability, or acceptance of its credits by third parties, as such decisions remain solely within the discretion of the receiving institution and subject to the applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies of that institution.
Recognition of Academic Progress and Qualifications
Upon successful completion of all prescribed academic requirements and full compliance with institutional obligations—including, without limitation, academic regulations, assessment requirements, academic integrity standards, and internal policies—students may be formally recognised for their academic progress and may be awarded a degree classified as a Private Degree by SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”), in accordance with the regulations in force at the time of graduation.
Where a programme is delivered under a dual-qualification structure or in cooperation with academic partners, students may, subject solely to the independent criteria, regulations, and decisions of the relevant partner institutions, be considered for the award of additional diplomas, certificates, or academic confirmations. The issuance of any such additional qualification is neither automatic nor guaranteed and does not constitute a contractual obligation on the part of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI.
Each country, jurisdiction, institution, and regulatory authority maintains its own legal framework, policies, and discretionary criteria governing the recognition, acceptance, or use of academic qualifications. In accordance with international practice, decisions relating to the recognition, equivalence, acceptance, or utilisation of degrees are made independently by the receiving authority, government body, employer, professional organisation, or educational institution, based on applicable laws and internal regulations.
Although the qualifications awarded by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are subject to internal and external quality assurance processes, aligned with relevant competency frameworks, and supported by independent international accreditation, such factors do not constitute, and shall not be construed as, a guarantee of recognition or acceptance in any jurisdiction or for any purpose. SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI and its academic or local partners expressly disclaim any representations, warranties, or assurances regarding recognition, equivalence, or acceptance of qualifications for purposes including, but not limited to, employment, professional licensing, teaching, research supervision, or further study.
On this basis, applicants are required and strongly advised to conduct independent, careful, and comprehensive verification of the intended use and potential recognition of qualifications prior to enrolment. SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, its university partners, and any local partners do not endorse, facilitate, guarantee, or support recognition or equivalency processes in any country, territory, or institutional context, whether before, during, or after the completion of a programme.
Information Assurance, Security and GDPR
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”) is committed to the protection of personal data and strictly complies with applicable data protection and information security regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal information.
SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI collects and processes personal data solely for purposes directly related to programme delivery, academic administration, training activities, and institutional quality assurance and improvement. The institution does not collect or process personal data of students, partners, or related parties for purposes beyond those stated. Disclosure of personal data to third parties, other than for the aforementioned purposes, shall occur only where required or authorised by law, or pursuant to a lawful order or request from a competent public authority.
In the event of a data security incident or breach arising from unauthorised access, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI will cooperate with the relevant authorities and affected parties in accordance with applicable legal requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI disclaims liability for data breaches or intrusions resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of third parties or force majeure events.
Fairness, Liberation, and Learning Freedom
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”) applies principles of fairness, equality, and non-discrimination in student admission, academic assessment, evaluation of results, and the review and allocation of scholarships, financial support, and institutional funding. Such processes are conducted without discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, political belief, or any other protected characteristic, in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
As a private and independent higher education institution, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI maintains an academic structure and programme design that provide students with a high degree of flexibility. Subject to academic regulations and programme requirements, students may independently select their field of study, define an individual learning pathway, and, where appropriate, request a change of programme or pursue academic mobility to other institutions.
SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI complies with applicable human rights principles and regulations, including the protection and promotion of the fundamental right to education. Within the framework of institutional policies and academic standards, students are entitled to make informed choices regarding their academic direction, including the selection of majors, study plans, and the possibility of transitioning to alternative fields of study when academically justified.
Copyright Policy
SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”) respects and protects the intellectual property rights of content providers, instructors, students, and all other third parties. Correspondingly, all students and users of the academic systems of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI are required to respect and comply with applicable intellectual property and copyright regulations.
By enrolling in a programme or engaging in any form of academic collaboration with SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, students and other stakeholders agree to comply with all applicable copyright rules and intellectual property obligations, whether expressly agreed in writing or implied by international academic and copyright practice.
All information and materials published, created, or distributed by SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI and/or its partners—including, but not limited to, learning materials, academic content, documents, templates, forms, records, minutes, and other official or unofficial publications, whether internal or public—constitute the intellectual property of SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI, unless expressly stated otherwise. Such materials may be used solely for personal study and individual academic research purposes. Any copying, reproduction, distribution, reuse, or exploitation of these materials for purposes beyond personal learning and research, whether for commercial or non-commercial use, without prior written authorisation, shall constitute a violation of intellectual property rights.
SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI considers intellectual property infringement to be a serious breach of academic and institutional regulations. Accordingly, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary measures, which may include, without limitation, termination of student status, annulment of academic results, revocation of degrees or certifications, and suspension or closure of online accounts. These measures may be applied irrespective of whether the infringement is identified during or after the completion of the academic programme.
Where an infringement of intellectual property rights by a student or any other party results in damage, including actual, anticipated, or implied damage, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI may fully cooperate with any investigation conducted by competent authorities or rights holders. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI disclaims liability for material, financial, or other losses arising from copyright infringements that occur beyond its reasonable control or outside its scope of authority or influence.
Faulty Communication and Unfair Competition Prevention
Protecting the reputation, dignity, and lawful interests of students, partners, and the institution is a fundamental priority of SIMI – SwissUK™ Higher Education Institution (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI – SwissUK™ HEI”), as an international higher education institution admitting students from multiple countries and jurisdictions.
