Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Dual Degree with VERN’ (By Research)

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Dual Degree with VERN' (By Research)DBA from VERN'; DBA in majors from SIMI Swiss

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program specialized in management and business, adopts a research approach from the beginning (By Research). It focuses on developing research skills with applied orientations in the field of administration and management, comprising two stages: (1) the stage of studying research courses to orient the research and understand scientific research methods, and (2) the stage of research and the formulation of the doctoral dissertation, applying career-oriented directions under the guidance of faculty.

Through in-depth research, students will develop research skills (a mandatory skill at the Doctoral level) and expand their research network and scientific knowledge through scientific conferences organized by SIMI Swiss in collaboration with partner universities. These skills serve as a foundation for graduates to conduct in-depth research and teaching in their passionate fields.

In contrast to the Ph.D. in Management program, the DBA program aims at highly applied and in-depth research in the industry of interest to the students. Students select a major in DBA (from the provided list) upon graduation. The major is immediately reflected on the diploma and transcript.

As a dual degree doctoral program, upon completion, doctoral candidates will receive two Doctoral degrees:

  • Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from VERN’ University.
  • Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in one of the 17 majors from SIMI Swiss.
