The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in one of 17 majors in management and business program focuses on knowledge-intensive research in management and business administration. It has 2 stages (1) the learning phase and research in-depth issues of the organization; and (2) research phase and form a career-oriented applied doctoral dissertation.
The Triple Crown program is a distinguish and globally recognized initiative that combines three independent accreditation systems with certification and diploma issuance from three organizations. Meeting challenges Triple Crown Award criteria, SIMI’s programs not only ensure maximum quality but also optimize opportunities for students upon graduation, with a minimum of three universities from partner institutions.
Through the process of study and research, students not only acquire applied research competency (a mandatory competency at the Doctoral level) but also develop profound and in-depth knowledge within every facet of business operations. This forms the foundation for conducting in-depth research and teaching within their passionate fields and industries.
Unlike the PhD in Management program, the DBA program focuses on highly applied and deeply specialized research within the candidate’s field of interest. Doctoral candidates can select the DBA majors (according to the list) upon graduation. Majors are shown right on the qualifications and transcript.

Graduating from the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Triple Crown program, the learner could:

- Filtering and generating new applications and/or deeply applied applications for teaching purposes if the researcher is a lecturer.

Assessment and Confirmation of Academic Results:
All modules and doctoral dissertations in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Triple Crown program are evaluated by SIMI Swiss, the accreditation system, OTHM UK and one of the best university in Croatia – VERN’ University. Learners must demonstrate mastery of knowledge and attain the competencies detailed in the program Syllabus.
In addition to the entry requirements, candidates applying to the program are also assessed for their suitability by the admissions committee before joining the program to ensure that they can acquire and benefit from the program.
Entry requirements:
To enroll the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Triple Crown Award, the learner must possess one of the criteria below:
- Learners must be over 24 years old;
- A Master’s qualification in Majors from accredited universities; or
- A Level 7 EQF diploma or equivalent. Level 7 Diploma must be from organizations that are authorized to issue qualifications and have been accredited.
English requirements:
If a learner is not from a predominantly English-speaking country, proof of English language proficiency must be provided.
- Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2 or equivalent;
- Or A minimum TOEFL score of 101 or IELTS 6.5; Reading and Writing must be at 6.5 or equivalent.
